Keep Digging is a crash-style game built on one of gambling's oldest tensions: the longer you wait, the more you stand to win, and the more you stand to lose. It's the "Don't Give Up / This Time It Hits" meme as a playable game, which is either poetry or a cruel joke depending on how your last run went. Each round, our miner pickaxes through an underground tunnel past a series of multiplier checkpoints. Cash out at any point and that multiplier locks in. Wait too long and the tunnel floods, the miner drowns, and the bet is gone.

Multipliers start low, around 1.20x, and climb through 1.40x, 1.60x, 1.90x, 2.20x, 2.70x, and beyond, with each checkpoint showing the cash value at your current stake so you always know exactly what walking away is worth. The ceiling is 2,000,000x.

How To Play

Set your bet amount using the input field, or use the 1/2, x2, and Max shortcuts to adjust quickly. Select a difficulty. Click Place Bet. When you do, boxes with multipliers will appear in front of the miner: waiting to be hit. Click the box and the miner starts swinging through them. When he swings for the box, you'll either lock in a multiplier on your bet, or your miner will perish along with your bet. Click Cashout to lock in your current multiplier at any point before the round ends. If you don't cash out before the miner hits water, the bet is lost.

The probability display, visible during each round, shows your real-time odds of surviving to the next checkpoint. It's the clearest indicator of where you stand and the most useful number to watch if you're deciding whether to hold or walk.

Difficulty Settings & Gameplay Options

Four difficulty settings control how aggressive the game is: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme. Higher difficulty compresses survival probability at each step, meaning you're more likely to wash out before reaching the deeper multipliers, but you'll also win more per multiplier box. The max win is the same across all four settings. What changes is how often you'll realistically get there.

Easy is the most forgiving entry point, with longer average tunnel runs and a probability display showing your odds at each checkpoint in real time. Extreme is for players who want the steepest risk curve and are comfortable watching the miner hit water more often than not. Most players find Hard to be the setting where the game's tension is sharpest, though that's personal.

Provable Fairness

Keep Digging runs on Acebet's provably fair system. Every round uses a SHA-256 hashed server seed, a player-controlled client seed, and a nonce that increments with each bet. Before a round starts, Acebet commits to the server seed hash. After it ends, you can reveal the full seed and verify the outcome yourself using the Fairness History page. Nothing about the result can be changed or predicted in advance, by the platform or anyone else. RTP is 96%.

Meme Context

The "Don't Give Up" meme originates from a widely shared image of a man digging through rock toward a gem deposit, stopping just inches short while the gems are visible on the other side. The joke is persistence without information: you don't know how close you are, so quitting always feels like it might be a mistake. Keep Digging is that feeling as a game mechanic. The miner never tells you how far the tunnel goes. The probability display tells you the odds at each step, but not when it ends. That's the whole game.
